Senior Developer - Shopify

Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of professional experience in ecommerce development, with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify.
• Proven expertise in Shopify theme and app development, including Liquid, Shopify CLI, and custom storefronts.
• Strong proficiency in React, Laravel, PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, and Headless Commerce implementations.
• Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, ERP/CRM integrations, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and automated testing frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold technical standards.

Technical Expertise:

• 7+ years of professional experience in ecommerce development, with 4–5 years of hands-on Shopify experience.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, custom app development, and theme customization.
• Proven experience building custom applications using React (frontend) and Laravel (backend).
• Deep understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and ERP/CRM integrations.
• Skilled in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend/backend frameworks.
• Familiar with Git, Composer, Shopify CLI, and CI/CD pipelines.

Shopify Expertise:

• 4+ years of strong experience in Shopify theme development using Liquid and Shopify CLI.

• Deep understanding of Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs, Storefront API, and Admin API.
• Experience building and managing API-driven integrations for ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and fulfillment systems.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify Functions, and Headless Commerce setups.
• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen (React-based framework) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with performance tuning, SEO, and accessibility standards for Shopify storefronts.
