Role Overview:
Kensium is strengthening its performance marketing capability to support scalable, outcome-driven growth across B2B and B2C commerce clients. As part of this effort, we are hiring Performance Marketing Associate who can independently execute, optimize, and scale paid media programs while contributing to funnel strategy, creative direction, and performance improvement.
This role is especially important for high-consideration commerce clients, where success depends on lead quality, funnel efficiency, and alignment with longer buying cycles — not just surface-level conversion metrics.
This role is ideal for someone with 3- 5 years of hands-on paid media experience who is ready to take ownership of performance outcomes and grow into a strategic operator within a structured delivery environment.
What Makes This Role Valuable:
- You will work on real, high-impact performance marketing programs across B2B and B2C commerce.
- You will gain exposure to full-funnel thinking, not just campaign execution.
- You will work closely with senior leadership and channel heads to improve delivery quality and outcomes.
- You will develop strong ownership over accounts, performance metrics, and optimization decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Paid Media Execution & Optimization:
- Own day-to-day execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, YouTube) and Meta Ads.
- Structure campaigns are based on funnel intent and business objectives rather than generic templates.
- Monitor performance metrics including CPL, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and lead quality.
- Execute budget pacing, bid optimization, audience refinement, and creative rotation.
- Identify performance issues early and implement corrective actions without constant supervision.
2. Funnel & Conversion Support:
- Support the design and optimization of end-to-end funnels from ad click to lead capture.
- Work with landing pages, forms, and conversion flows to improve efficiency and reduce drop-offs.
- Help diagnose whether performance challenges are driven by traffic quality, messaging, or conversion experience.
- Collaborate with CRM and sales feedback loops to improve lead quality where applicable.
3. Creative Direction & Testing Support:
- Contribute to defining creative angles, hooks, and messaging based on funnel stage and buyer intent.
- Translate performance insights into clear inputs for designers and content teams.
- Support structured creative testing across formats (static, carousel, video) and messaging themes.
- Track creative performance and assist in scaling winners while phasing out underperforming assets.
4. Reporting, Insights & Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using platform dashboards, GA4, and internal reporting tools.
- Prepare regular performance summaries with clear insights and next-step recommendations.
- Move beyond vanity metrics to understand what is actually driving conversions and efficiency.
- Support weekly and monthly optimization cycles with data-backed inputs.
5. Collaboration & Delivery Discipline:
- Work closely with SEO, Content, CRO, and Design teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Follow established SOPs, playbooks, and delivery frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain clear documentation, task ownership, and timely updates within internal trackers.
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and escalate risks or blockers early.
Required Experience & Skills Experience:
- 3- 5 years of hands-on performance marketing experience in an agency or in-house environment.
- Experience working on multiple accounts or campaigns simultaneously.
- Exposure to B2B or high-consideration funnels is a strong advantage.
Channel Expertise:
- Paid Media: Google Ads, Performance Max, Meta Ads (hands-on), Linkedin
- Email Marketing:
- Analytics: Working knowledge of GA4 and conversion tracking.
- Funnels: Understanding of TOFU / MOFU / BOFU structures and lead-driven models.
- Creative: Ability to assess creative performance and contribute to testing strategy.
Personality Fit:
- Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes.
- Comfortable working with structure, processes, and performance targets.
- Analytical, curious, and willing to dig into data to find real issues.
- Clear communicator who can work across teams without friction.
Growth & Success in This Role:
- Success in this role means campaigns are stable, optimized, and improving consistently.
- Performance insights become clearer and more actionable over time.
- Creative testing becomes more structured, and data driven.
- You reduce dependency on constant senior intervention and earn greater ownership.
