THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF YOU:
As an Associate Solution Architect, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of robust eCommerce solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product, and client services—to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures. This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone looking to grow into a senior architecture position.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Assist in designing end-to-end eCommerce solutions using Shopify, BigCommerce, and Adobe Commerce.
- Support senior architects in creating technical specifications, integration plans, and data flow diagrams.
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand client needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to design.
- Help evaluate third-party apps, APIs, and middleware for platform compatibility and performance.
- Contribute to documentation, including architecture blueprints, user stories, and technical guides.
- Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies in the eCommerce ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, web development, or systems integration.
- Familiarity with one or more platforms: Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data integration patterns.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and how they integrate with commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Liquid (Shopify), GraphQL, or Adobe Commerce architecture.
- Exposure to middleware platforms (e.g., Celigo, MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Understanding of B2B commerce workflows and multi-channel strategies.
- Certification in any of the partner platforms is a plus.
