Sales Development Representative

Overview

Reporting to the CSO, the Sales Development Representative is the primary contact for miid-marrket and enterprise clients. This person triages inbound inquiries to determine high-impact MQLs and support our sales pipeline.

You are an educator focused on building and maintaining strong partner relationships. You enjoy creating and maintaining relationships with industry partners and working with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. 

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects.
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts: Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest. Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Research new and existing databases and ensure all relevant personas are aligned with our objectives.
  • Understand and articulate Kensium's unique value proposition during initial customer engagements.
  • Develop and nurture enterprise relationships using multi-channel prospecting tactics (including email cadences, voice and text outreach, video creation, social media engagement, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline from initial outreach to closed deal through our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Educate prospective and existing partners to help them understand how Kensium can help meet their technology needs.
  • Meet activity and contact metrics within a defined period measured by volume, quality, and conversion rate of inbound prospects to SQLs/MQLs.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in marketing or other related fields
  • You have 1+ years of professional experience in sales or a similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning).
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM or similar systems.
  • An understanding of account-based marketing and sales strategies
  • Sense of ownership and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and energetic presence (listening, verbal, written).

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of Ecommerce or Enterprise Resource Planning technology is a plus.
  • HubSpot CRM Certification is a plus.
