NetSuite Implementation Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking a NetSuite Implementation Consultant with strong experience in Finance and Manufacturing domains, capable of independently delivering end-to-end NetSuite implementations for international clients, particularly in US, Canada, UK, and Australia.

The ideal candidate should be client-facing, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable leading discussions with global stakeholders while mentoring junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End NetSuite Implementation (Mandatory):
   • Lead and execute full-cycle NetSuite implementations from:
     • Discovery & requirement gathering
     • Gap analysis & solution design
     • Configuration & validation
     • UAT, training, and go-live support
   • Independently manage implementation deliverables, timelines, and quality
   • Work closely with international clients across different time zones
2. Finance Domain Expertise:
   • Hands-on experience with NetSuite Financials:
     • GL, AP, AR
     • Bank Reconciliation
     • Fixed Assets & Depreciation
     • Revenue Recognition (ARM)
     • Amortization & Prepaids
   • Configure period close processes and financial reporting aligned with global accounting practices
3. Manufacturing Domain Expertise:
   • Strong functional experience with NetSuite Manufacturing:
     • BOMs, Routings, and Work Orders
     • Production planning and WIP tracking
     • Manufacturing costing (functional understanding)
   • Understand end-to-end manufacturing lifecycle:
     • Procure → Produce → Store → Ship
4. Requirement Gathering & Gap Analysis:
   • Lead discovery workshops with business and finance stakeholders
   • Document as-is and to-be processes clearly
   • Perform detailed gap analysis and propose scalable NetSuite solutions
   • Align solutions with industry best practices and client expectations
5. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management (Critical):
   • Act as a primary functional contact for clients in:
     • US, Canada, UK, Australia
   • Confidently conduct:
     • Client workshops
     • Status calls
     • Design walkthroughs
   • Communicate clearly with:
     • CFOs
     • Controllers
     • Operations leaders
   • Translate complex system concepts into simple business language
6. Team Leadership & Mentoring:
   • Guide, mentor, and train junior consultants
   • Review junior deliverables and configurations
   • Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
   • Act as a functional escalation point
7. Testing, Training & Go-Live Support:
   • Lead UAT planning, execution, and sign-off
   • Conduct end-user and super-user training sessions
   • Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Has successfully delivered NetSuite implementations for international clients
• Comfortable working in US / UK / Canada / Australia time zones
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident in client-facing roles and leadership discussions
• Able to work independently and take ownership

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–9+ years of hands-on NetSuite implementation experience
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end NetSuite implementations
• Strong expertise in Finance and Manufacturing domains
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing and mentoring junior consultants

Education & Background (Preferred):

• Finance / Accounting / Operations / Manufacturing background preferred
• MBA (Finance / Operations), CA / CMA / B.Com / Engineering are a plus

Certification (Plus):

• NetSuite certifications such as:
  • NetSuite Certified Financial User
  • NetSuite Certified Administrator
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant
• Certification is a plus, not mandatory
