Role Overview:
Search has changed. The brands that win in 2025 and beyond are not just ranking on Google — they are the ones that AI platforms recommend.
At Kensium, we are at the forefront of this shift — building AI visibility programmes for a diverse portfolio of B2C and B2B brands in the US and North American markets, think e-commerce brands and growth-stage businesses trying to own the conversation in their space.
This role — Growth Marketing Associate — is for someone who wants to be at the intersection of where traditional search discipline meets the new frontier of generative AI. You will bring a strong SEO foundation to every client engagement, and layer GEO strategy on top of it: understanding how LLMs think, what they cite, why they trust certain brands, and how to systematically build that visibility through content, technical execution, and entity authority.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will work directly with clients & the VP of strategic services bringing your own point of view to every engagement.
If you are genuinely curious about where search is going — and want to work on brands and markets that make that curiosity worth having — this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GEO Strategy:
- Design and run AI-visibility programmes for client accounts across B2B and B2C segments
- Surface the gap between a client’s actual brand narrative and what LLMs currently say about them — that gap is your brief
- Define LLM Share-of-Voice baselines, set the GEO roadmap, and translate it into monthly execution priorities
- Bring a point of view on GEO strategy to client conversations — you will not be escalating to a GEO specialist; you are the specialist
2. On-Page SEO:
- Execute on-page SEO directly across client properties — meta optimisation, heading architecture, internal linking, and page-level content improvements
- Conduct keyword research and map search intent to the right page types and content formats
- Audit and improve existing content for both search engine performance and LLM citation readiness
- Ensure on-page signals are consistent, crawlable, and aligned with the broader GEO and technical strategy
3. Technical SEO & GEO:
- Handle technical SEO hands-on: crawl health, indexing issues, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and canonicalisation
- Implement and validate structured data (Schema.org) to strengthen both search engine signals and LLM extraction accuracy
- Ensure AI bot access, rendering, and crawlability are correctly configured across client properties
- Build and reinforce brand entity signals — Wikidata entries, Google Knowledge Panel accuracy, sameAs consistency, and NAP hygiene — as part of the technical GEO foundation
- You will not be handing these tasks to a separate technical team — you will be executing them directly
4. Content Strategy & content development:
- Map the real questions buyers ask AI engines in a client’s category and the fan-out sub-queries each LLM generates internally
- Build topic clusters and pillar-spoke architectures aligned to buyer intent and LLM extraction patterns
- Edit & develop content — Answer Blocks, comparison pages, FAQ sets, thought-leadership articles — structured for AI extraction
- Own content quality end-to-end
5. LLM Query Intelligence Tracking:
- Run structured LLM query testing across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, and Meta AI
- Track brand citation presence, and Share-of-Voice across engines and query categories
- Identify visibility gaps, diagnose root causes, and prioritise content or technical interventions
- Convert query intelligence into actionable content and optimisation briefs for each client
6. Measurement & Performance Tracking:
- Own the full performance reporting stack for each client — SEO rankings, organic traffic, and LLM Share-of-Voice
- Set up and interpret GA4 AI-referral tracking; build dashboards that tie GEO activity to measurable outcomes
- Track citations and coverage changes over time and attribute shifts to specific content or technical actions
- Build repeatable reporting frameworks the team can scale across accounts
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or growth marketing.
Strong hands-on experience across:
- SEO — on-page and technical
- Content strategy and writing
- GEO or AI search fundamentals
- Structured data / Schema.org basics
- Brand positioning and messaging
Additional expectations:
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable owning outcomes independently
- Client-facing confidence
- Fast learner in an evolving AI search landscape
- Able to execute without constant direction
Good to have:
- Experience with US clients
- Experience with US clients
- Familiarity with GEO / AI search tools
- B2B or e-commerce context
