Kensium POS 7.0: The ERP-Led POS for Acumatica and Sage

Available October 1, 2026 - a browser-based point of sale that runs on any device, works fully offline, and never leaves your ERP behind.

Kensium POS 7.0 is an ERP-Led POS™ - a point-of-sale system built to run on top of the ERP as its single source of truth for inventory, pricing, customer, and financial data, rather than as a separate system next to it. It is available starting October 1, 2026, for businesses running Acumatica, Sage 100, or Sage 500.

If you have ever run a store, a distribution counter, or a B2B storefront on top of Acumatica, Sage 100, or Sage 500, you already know the tradeoff most point-of-sale software forces on you: a fast, flexible register that keeps its own version of your inventory and customer data, or a slow, rigid one that stays in sync with your ERP. Kensium POS 7.0 was built to remove that tradeoff entirely.

Why we built an ERP-Led POS

Most point-of-sale systems treat the ERP as an afterthought: a system they export to overnight, or sync with on a schedule. That gap is where the real cost of running a store shows up - a price change made in the ERP that has not reached the register yet, an inventory count that does not match what is actually on the shelf, a customer record that looks different depending on which screen you are standing at.

Kensium POS 7.0 takes the opposite approach. The ERP is the master. The register works from that same inventory, pricing, customer, and financial data, kept in sync continuously and with far fewer hops than a traditional overnight or batch sync. There is no second system to reconcile, because there is no second master.

What is new in 7.0

  • Runs anywhere: the register moves from a Windows-only desktop application to a browser-based application that can run on Windows, Android, and iOS - use the hardware you already have.
  • True offline mode: if the internet goes down, the register keeps working. Sales, card payments, gift cards, and tax calculation all continue to function, and everything syncs back automatically once the connection returns.
  • One console, not seven: earlier generations of Kensium POS required deploying and administering as many as seven separate components per store. Kensium POS 7.0 centralizes administration into one place.
  • Built for real transaction volume: multiple stores, multiple registers per store, and fulfillment options including buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS) and buy online, return in store (BORIS), with transactions consolidated back to a single financial picture.
  • A modernization, not a rebuild from scratch: Kensium POS 7.0 is the seventh major version of a point-of-sale line with a long history in retail. If you are already running an earlier version, this is the next chapter, not a new product.

Built for Acumatica, Sage 100, and Sage 500

Kensium POS 7.0 is available today for businesses running Acumatica, Sage 100, or Sage 500 - the three ERPs it has been built and tested for, and where it is ready to deploy at launch. the three ERPs where it has been built, tested, and is ready to deploy at launch. Kensium's product roadmap continues to expand ERP coverage in future releases.

It is built for mid-market manufacturers, distributors, and hybrid B2B and B2C companies that run high transaction volume across one or more physical locations and need their point of sale to reflect the same inventory, pricing, and customer data as the rest of the business - not a separate copy of it.

Trusted where it counts

Kensium POS has been running in real stores and B2B counters for over twenty years. Kensium POS 7.0 carries that operating history forward into a modern, browser-based platform, for retail and B2B operations across North America that need their point of sale and their ERP to agree with each other.

Available October 1, 2026

Kensium POS 7.0 becomes generally available on October 1, 2026, for new customers on Acumatica, Sage 100, and Sage 500. If you are already running an earlier version of Kensium POS, your account team will be in touch about your upgrade path in the weeks ahead.
