To say that Acumatica Summit 2023 was a big success for Kensium is an understatement! Kensium has been a Platinum sponsor for the past eight years. Our company leadership met with industry leaders, clients, and partners at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
While the summit's official start was January 29th, the Acumatica Hackathon was held January 27 – 28. The Hackathon consisted of twelve teams of Acumatica Developers from all over the world. The teams work together to create features, add-ons, and apps for Acumatica. Two of Kensium’s talented developers and our co-founder participated and won the Hackathon. During the first marketplace event, we showcased our booth filled with swag, raffle entries, and Forza Motorsports 7 video gameplay. The leadership team was on hand to chat with customers, VARs, and ISVs. We were happy to see many friends and made new ones. Everyone who came to visit us had nothing but great things to say about Kensium and our contributions to the Acumatica community.
This year, we introduced Fusion, a division of Kensium. Fusion drew in an entirely new set of clients and friends. Mike Gill, CEO, and Jake Sumners from Fusion were on hand, showcasing the new POS system and introducing the new Fusion product lines.
In addition to manning the Kensium booth, several of our team spoke at breakout sessions during the summit. Our team joined other industry leaders to discuss different aspects of business where an ERP system like Acumatica improves operations, data accuracy, and increases collaboration. Day two was filled with even more Kensium wins. The biggest win was for our customer, Avante Health Solutions. Their unique use of Acumatica to combine eight divisions into one system (down from twelve) to manage operations, sales, and customer information took them to the top of the list. This project was a big one for Kensium and we are proud to continue working with Avante well into the future.

For the fifth year in a row, Kensium received the Retail-Commerce Partner of the Year. Out of a field of stiff competition, we rose above the rest to win! In fact, we’ve been the ONLY recipient of this award since its inception. We are dedicated to continuing our success and winning a sixth time in 2024!
We are small but mighty! As one of the smaller VARs to receive this award, being part of Acumatica’s President’s Club highlights our dedication to our customers and helping implement Acumatica ERP as the best solution for any size of business and any industry.
Kensium developers were again awarded the most MVP awards at the summit. These awards are given to individual developers who contribute to the Acumatica community, providing helpful advice, feedback, and solutions to common problems. Congratulations to our MVPs!

The end of the Summit was a day of reflection on our successes and chatting with new friends and with ones we’ve made along the way. Kensium created quite a bit of buzz at the Summit for our amazing staff! People lined up at our booth to talk and follow up on discussions during our time in Las Vegas.
