A larger selling operation requires a different level of coordination
More locations and more people naturally create more to oversee. Changes have a wider reach, access needs evolve, and individual site requirements need to fit within the way the broader operation is managed.
Across a growing operation, your team manages:
Locations
that need to operate within a consistent framework
Users
whose access changes as people join, move, and leave
Configuration decisions
that may apply to one site or across the operation
Exceptions
that need to remain intentional and visible
Bring POS administration into one place
Kensium POS brings configuration, security, and provisioning together in one central console. Instead of dividing administration across separate tools, your team works from one place for the core tasks involved in managing the POS environment. That gives the people responsible for the operation a clearer administrative model as the selling footprint grows.

One console. Three areas of administration.

Sage 500 remains where your core business data lives
Kensium POS is designed to work from the inventory, pricing, and customer information already managed in Sage 500. It uses that information to support the selling experience, while Sage 500 continues to hold the business data the rest of your operation relies on.

Improve the selling operation without widening the scope of the decision
Kensium POS is focused on improving how your teams sell and how the POS environment is managed. It works around the Sage 500 environment already at the center of your business, giving you a specific operational improvement to evaluate without turning the conversation into a broader technology review.
Understand the technical fit before you commit
A Sage 500 evaluation should establish how Kensium POS fits the environment you already run, what infrastructure the POS requires, and who is responsible for maintaining it.

Fit with your environment
Kensium POS 7.0 is designed for Sage 500 organizations, but customized environments require a clear compatibility assessment. A standard discovery conversation reviews your existing Sage 500 customizations and connected systems as part of scoping the engagement, so any dependencies or limitations are understood before implementation begins.
Infrastructure behind the register
Kensium POS 7.0 uses a browser-based architecture. The documented 7.0 platform removes the store-level server tier and includes provisioning in the register. This architecture applies across every supported Sage 500 deployment, on-premises or cloud-hosted. Kensium POS 7.0 can run on Windows, Android, and iOS devices. A certified device and browser matrix is being finalized and will be published ahead of general availability.
What IT owns
A clear evaluation should establish what remains with your internal team, what Kensium supports, and where a Sage partner may be involved.
Kensium support owns the Kensium POS application and the connection between Kensium POS and Sage 500. Issues within Sage 500 itself are handled by your Sage 500 partner or VAR, with Kensium coordinating on anything that touches the integration.
A modern technical foundation
Kensium POS 7.0 is a major-release modernization of a mature retail platform, with a unified C#, .NET 8, Blazor Hybrid, and Entity Framework Core technology stack.
