ACD Distribution is a leading games and hobby distributor serving thousands of independent toy and game retailers across North America. With a vast catalog of products and frequent large‑volume wholesale orders, ACD needed a faster, more stable e‑commerce solution capable of handling complex B2B purchasing behaviors including 500+ SKUs per order and custom pricing rules.

Overview 

ACD partnered with Kensium and Net at Work to migrate from Adobe Commerce to BigCommerce B2B Edition (Catalyst), marking the largest Catalyst implementation completed at the time of launch. The project aimed to eliminate site‑speed issues caused by high‑SKU carts, improve checkout performance, and prepare ACD’s e‑commerce infrastructure for future Sage X3 ERP integration.

Kensium’s solution combined performance optimization, advanced B2B logic, and scalability, enabling ACD’s retailer network to place large, multi‑warehouse orders quickly and reliably, without timeouts or the need for manual intervention.
