Responsibilities
- Proficiency with C# language, including but not limited to the following language features:
Class structure- OOP (inheritance, interfaces, polymorphism)
- Generics
- Delegates, anonymous methods, and lambda expressions
- Knowledge of the main concepts of ASP.NET and Web Development:
- Debugging ASP.NET MVC Applications Using Visual Studio
- Attaching to IIS using Visual Studio Debugging Tools
- Client and Server-Side development
- Web Forms Structure
- Web Services
- Experience with MySQL/SQL Server:
- Writing and debugging complex MySQL/SQL queries (Where Clause, Aggregates, Sub-queries)
- Understanding of database structure (Primary Keys, Data Types, De-normalization).
- Expected to deliver small to medium functionality independently most of the time.
Skills and Expertise
- Strong Programming Development Expertise and Knowledge (depth) of core technical area i.e. .Net MVC, C#, MySQl/SQL, Java Script, JQuery, HTML, CSS, LINQ, Entity Framework, Web API.
- Willingness and passion to learn and acquire skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly identify challenges and bubble them up all the way the top management.
- Interpret written business requirements and/or functional specifications, and write technical specification documents, create technical designs.
- Perform unit testing of code written by her/him tenure quality.
- Investigate, analyze, document, fix and retest reported defects.
- Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
- Configuration and deployment of ASP.NET websites is a plus
- Configuring and Securing IIS is a plus
