This June 12th, 2023, marks Kensium’s 17th anniversary! I am thrilled to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable ways our employees have shown their dedication to social responsibility. Each year, on our company's foundation day, we celebrate “Kensium Cares Day” where employees are encouraged to give back. They unleash their time and talents, uniting to support a variety of both local and global causes.  

A Glimpse into Our Volunteering Efforts 

This year was no exception, as our employees volunteered at over 30 different organizations across the world. They engaged in a wide array of projects, such as revamping schools, breathing life into IT labs, providing food and essentials to the homeless, restoring pristine beaches, and lending their time to orphanages as well as elderly care homes. Their selfless efforts genuinely impacted the lives of numerous individuals, and their kindness reached far and wide. 

Hyderabad Office: 

With over 130 enthusiastic volunteers, we spent an incredible day at the Zilla Parishad school in Kompally. Participating in various activities, we painted classrooms, restored the grills on the second floor, and even revived the IT lab. Our skilled IT experts repaired eight computers, ensuring their full functionality. Additionally, our staff provided invaluable support to the teaching team by assisting with back-office tasks like creating registers for all the classes. They meticulously sorted and organized the library books, ensuring easy access for students based on subject and genre. To top it off, we donated five cupboards to safeguard the second-term books, guaranteeing no child would miss out. And, of course, we shared joy by distributing chocolates and cookies to the children at the school. 

Chicago: 

Our team in Chicago focused their efforts on a beach cleanup initiative local to the area. Not only did our staff volunteer their time, but Kensium also made a heartfelt donation to the beach clean-up foundation, amplifying our impact even further. 

Mexico: 

Our group at the Merida office spent time at a home for the elderly, playing games and engaging in conversations that brought smiles and optimism to the residents. Their presence made a genuine difference in the lives of those they interacted with. 

Remote Staff: 

Even our remote staff made significant contributions to their local communities.

They dedicated their time to supporting various charities and organizations, including donating essential supplies to the homeless and volunteering at retirement homes, orphanages, and underprivileged neighborhoods. They also participated in planting trees, restoring native habitats, feeding cattle, cleaning up local communities, and much more.
