Job Description:
This role is ideal for a highly skilled DevOps engineer with strong hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should enjoy solving complex infrastructure, scalability, and reliability challenges and be passionate about automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native technologies.
You should thrive in high-availability, performance-critical environments and work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability. Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and network layers are essential, along with a mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Support GitOps workflows and modern deployment strategies
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth application delivery
- Implement security best practices including IAM, secrets management, SSL, and network security
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization (FinOps)
- Document infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and deployment processes
- Continuously evaluate and implement tools to improve automation and reliability
Experience & Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in large-scale, complex environments
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ALB, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) – Mandatory
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Practical experience with Terraform for IaC
- Scripting experience using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Good understanding of Linux system administration
- Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing, DNS, and security best practices
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills:
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Exposure to DevSecOps and container security
- Experience with WAF/CDN platforms (Cloudflare, Fastly)
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce)
- Exposure to serverless technologies (AWS Lambda)
- Experience supporting high-traffic production environments
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate (BE / BTech / MCA)
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, CI/CD, and cloud security
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
