Overview

As a Product Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing Kensium’s Fusion Product line to potential clients and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting product demonstrations, understanding customer requirements and documenting them for the delivery team, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure successful onboarding of new clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop good understanding of our Products and be fully aware of and able to articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions.

  • Conduct engaging and comprehensive product demonstrations to showcase the features and capabilities of Kensium Products.

  • Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and demonstrate how our products can effectively meet their requirements.

  • Provide technical support to the sales team by addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to product functionality.

  • Coordinate with the product team and solution architects to ensure client’s requirements and concerns are addressed promptly.

  • Actively participate in scoping, discovery, and proposal review sessions with the prospects.

  • Ability to develop and articulate solution options, associated risks and costs, pros, and cons, and make clear, confident recommendations grounded in reality.

  • Align client’s business needs and process workflow with Kensium Products by understanding customer’s current state and business objectives.

  • Present the solution, estimates and proposal to the prospect/client. Consult with clients to lead them to the optimal technical solutions based on their needs, and the business, with confidence.

  •  Customize the demonstration environment as needed prior to any needed sales demonstration for a prospect.

  • Respond to RFP questions or prospects clarifying questions both in writing and/or recorded video if necessary.

  • Participation in pre & post-sales technical scoping, requirements gathering, and solution creation & review.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products to effectively position our solutions in the market.

  • Provide insights to the product development team based on customer feedback and market observations.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including demo scripts, FAQs, and technical specifications.

  • Assist in the development of sales collateral to support the sales process.

  • Participate in the evolution of process improvements and cross-functional communications.

  • Communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional teams across geographic regions.

 

Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience with Product Pre-Sales
  • Ecommerce / Retail industry experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of ERP, and Web Technologies and integrations.
  • Solution-oriented thinking; always looking for smart solution to a problem.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • A preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organization, and presentation skills 
  • Strong customer relationship skills

 

Minimum Qualifications

Have a bachelor’s degree in either Informatics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Interactive Design, Instructional Systems, or related field.
