Director of Marketing

Overview

The Director of Marketing will analyze market opportunities, industry trends, data analytics and work with Kensium stakeholders to formalize and implement multi-channel marketing strategies to deliver results that align with Kensium’s Sales goals. These channels include, social media, website, email campaigns, PPC, and others. You will work closely with our execution teams to communicate our strategy, set the overall direction, schedule deliverables, and track and approve the deliverables they create. This role requires candidate to be in office atleast 2-3 times a week.

Who Are You?

You are a director-level candidate, with strong experience in both marketing enterprise technology implementation services (ecommerce and/or ERP) and extremely focused on lead generation. Experience with Adobe/Magento, BigCommerce, ShopifyPlus, Salesforce Commerce, Acumatica ERP or NetSuite ERP is a plus.  


Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute an annual marketing plan and budget that is aligned with the company’s sales and revenue goals.

  • Collaborate with Sales to map out strategies that align, support and extend marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term.

  • Manage Kensium’s demand-generation channels, including Inbound Digital Marketing, Outbound Email, SDR Outreach, Industry Events, and Strategic Partners.

  • Manage and nurture partner marketing relationships and develop co-marketing campaigns.

  • Identify industry tradeshows to attend and oversee strategy, logistics, design, and execution.

  • Partner with the Kensium Creative Services (CS) team to ensure content and other creative assets are optimized for search and user experience for all channels, including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.

  • Review and approve all content that will be posted on the blog, website, socials, and other channels. 

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

  • Proactively develop standards, processes, and best practices for innovative content creation, distribution, and repurposing.

  • Report on and review marketing campaign performance to enable re-prioritization and optimization based on those results.

Requirements

  • Experience marketing enterprise technology implementation services (ecommerce and/or ERP), with a strong focus on lead generation. 

  • Experience with Commerce platforms, such as Adobe/Magento, BigCommerce, or ShopifyPlus is a big plus.

  • Experience with ERP platforms, such as NetSuite ERP an/or Acumatica ERP is a big plus.

  • Experience with both outbound, inbound and demand generation marketing strategies and tactics, including campaigns, email, events, online advertising, and lead nurturing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

  • 6+ years in B2B marketing

Knowledge & Skills

  • Able to clearly articulate the business goals and targets behind the creation of strategies, campaigns and other marketing activities.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills. Proven editorial skills.
  • Have a passion for creative, engaging content.
  • Ability to multi‐task and prioritize activities effectively under aggressive timelines, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate independently.
