Earthy Tales offers one of the largest selection of organic produce in India. Started in 2011 with a handful of farmers with a mission to make farming more sustainable and bring fresh produce to customers' doorsteps. Fast forward to today, ET serves 20,000+ families every day and empowers 10K+ local farmers with sustainable farming practices and building a profitable circular ecosystem for a healthier tomorrow.

The Challenge

Earthly Tales needed a fresh visual identity and a seamless website experience one that makes discovering and ordering organic produce effortless.

The challenge was to create a brand that feels authentic and relatable, standing apart from the mass-market grocery giants. A space where conscious consumers can connect with real, wholesome food.

Our Strategy

Stand up and Stand out!

After a series of comprehensive market and competitor research, We figured there was a huge need for awareness about Organic Food. We went out with a fresh perspective by taking a different art direction. A vibrant and illustrative visual theme that stands out and tells the tale.

We tweaked the brand guidelines and the comms to better fit the new narrative. Restructured the flow with an information architecture that facilitates seamless navigation and faster checkouts. Sprints to ideate new features - giving birth to the subscriptions and the gamified reward system.

An Elevated Site Experience

We started with rethinking the core user flows - Aligning the brand’s trustworthiness with the user experience by guiding users to shop for organic products seamlessly.

Organic Produce for everyone

We streamlined the information architecture with clear categories and sub-categories to enhance the overall shopping experience. Furthermore, we utilised people-first messaging and visual storytelling to convey and raise awareness about the health benefits of organic produce throughout the journey.

The Earthy Tales Brand

We tweaked the brand identity system to extend it into a design system featuring versatile typography system, quirky copies and custom illustrations — that portray the company’s traditional approach and innovative vision.

Vibrant Illustrations for all use cases

The Earthy Tales illustration system is designed to complement the brand and communicate clearly. We opted for a humane, expressive, and energetic illustration style for pictograms and icons throughout the product to further enhance the experience.
